| Functional description | Poly(I:C) did not induce protection of STAT3 siRNA transfected ARPE-19 cells exposed to oxidative stress, in contrast to control siRNA transfected cells. Transfection of STAT3 siRNA only resulted in a decrease in the amount total STAT3 present in cells, and did not cause a significant reduction in the proportion of phosphorylated STAT3, compared with control siRNA. |
